Tech Solutions: Adobe Photoshop CS5 won’t print

Issue: Adobe Photoshop CS5 print option grayed out, cannot print

Environment: Windows 7 64 bit, Lenovo Thinkpad T410

Resolution: In your printer list, switch the default printer to Adobe PDF, then back to to your original default printer. The printing option within Adobe Photoshop should not be grayed out once this is done.

Notes: A quick Google search will inform you that this issue is not new, but apparently it is still occurring in Adobe Photoshop CS5. Why Adobe didn’t catch this is surprising, but I will not exclude the possibility that different settings and configurations on the end user side could cause this issue.
